Electronics Recycling in Toronto

Under the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act, the new electronics regulation in Ontario entered into effect on January 1, 2021.

The law moves Ontario to a model of Individual Producer Responsibility, which is overseen by the Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority.

Producers may choose to cover the cost of the project by incorporating it into their product price or by charging a recycling charge/environmental handling fee per unit sold.

EPRA/Recycle My Electronics initiatives provide reliable, low-cost services that manufacturers and consumers rely on as a not-for-profit industry-led organization with a national platform that keeps costs down. We have extensive experience and a strong record of achieving regulator compliance objectives. You can depend on us because we were selected for our electronics company by the electronics industry.
